I was at a conference hosted by the late Ambassador Ricky D. Floyd at The Pursuit of God. A guest from Texas—Prophet Daniel Pringle—called me out and spoke a word that felt…unrealistic. After the service, he asked to meet. He told me God was pulling me out of tradition and into an apostolic assignment. He gave an instruction I had never heard before: hold communion on the church grounds and pour the cup on the land. He said, “You’ll see a tremendous move of God.”
He asked to come. We set the service for a Sunday evening in the fall of 2011, at 7:00 PM.
The Holy Spirit met us. The service didn’t end until midnight. People were slain at the altar, praying and speaking in tongues. For a church family shaped by traditional Baptist rhythms, this was not a “normal church.” It was holy disruption. In that moment, I knew: something had shifted.
As a pastor, I felt both awakened and undone. I could not go back to business as usual, yet I couldn’t map where God was taking us. The Holy Ghost ministered to me and made the call clear: a new mantle—miracles, signs, and wonders—would follow this house. Since that night, that is precisely what we’ve seen.
Soon after, we formally joined the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International, honoring our Baptist roots while embracing Spirit-filled expression and apostolic order.
“The Supernatural” is not a slogan. It’s our assignment.
In the Mason–Tipton corridor, you’ll find faithful churches. What you won’t find everywhere is this blend:
That fall evening in 2011 changed our language and our lifestyle. We didn’t chase a brand; a moment with God renamed our house. From then on, Salem Baptist Church became known as “The Place of the Supernatural.” Not because every service is sensational, but because every service is surrendered. Some Sundays are quiet, others are thunder—but the same God moves through both.
“In 2011, God interrupted our routine and reintroduced us to His power. Since then, our promise has been simple: make room for Jesus and expect the Holy Spirit to do what only He can do. If you’re hungry for more than ‘church as usual,’ welcome home.”

Where Jesus is exalted, people are loved, and miracles are still normal.
